The Underground Railroad was amazing and it is a very interesting topic. This simply written picture book follows a family as they travel the Underground Railroad. The pictures create a story all their own and readers are transported through history. Since the story is written simply it brings this amazing part of history to the younger readers to enjoy and learn. However, this is not only applicable to younger readers. Readers of all ages will enjoy learning from and reading this well illustrated and well written story.
